Registrations and abstract submissions for the 7th LAKES Workshop are officially OPEN!<\/p><p>The forthcoming Workshop on the\u00a0<strong><em>Parameterization of Lakes in Numerical Weather Prediction and Climate Modelling<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0is aimed at exploring the interactions between inland water bodies, such as lakes and reservoirs, and the atmosphere above, in order to improve the coupling between these two key components of the\u00a0<strong>hydrological cycle<\/strong>.<\/p><p>The Workshop, organized over\u00a0<strong>three days<\/strong>\u00a0with plenary\u00a0<strong>oral and poster sessions<\/strong>,\u00a0aims to bring together scientists working on various aspects of the lake-atmosphere feedbacks and the interaction of lakes with regional and global climate.<\/p><p><strong>The 7<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0edition of the Workshop will be held in Milan (Italy) from November 20 to 22, 2024. <\/strong><\/p><p>The\u00a0<strong>main focus<\/strong>\u00a0is on the\u00a0<strong>parameterization of lakes in numerical weather prediction<\/strong>\u00a0(NWP) and climate models.
